What it costs
The school system is free. You pay only for two things that cost us money to deliver — text messages to parents, and teaching documents the system writes for you — and only if you choose to use them.
Free, with no time limit
Every school gets all of this, for as long as it likes, with no card and no commitment:

A school that never sends a message and never buys a document pays nothing at all.

Many lessons have already been written for another teacher somewhere in Kenya. When yours is one of them it comes back at once, and at the library price. You pay the higher price only when the lesson is written from scratch for your own class.
You top up by M-Pesa, and what you buy stays until you use it. There is no monthly charge and nothing renews by itself.

Parents pay nothing to us
When a parent pays school fees through the system, the money goes straight into your school's own Paybill or Till. We never hold it and we never take a share of it.
Parents and learners use the portal free of charge.
Questions
Do we need internet all the time? No. Open a class once while you have a connection, and you can mark the whole class and print report cards with no signal. Marks are held on the device and sent by themselves when you are back online.
Can we try it before deciding? There is nothing to try — register and use it. Nothing is charged unless you send a message or buy a document.
